OPEN PTA BOARD or COMMITTEE POSITIONS
Please be a part of the process and help to enrich your child’s education here at Stanford. The PTA needs your help this year, from a few minutes to a few hours. If you would like to be a part of the decision-making process, we still need:

VP Hospitality
The 8th grade, dance, environmental stewardship, and Teacher of the Year programs could still use a little help. Also, the Fitathon, eScrip and vintage bake sale could use help. If you don’t want to commit, we maintain a Help As Needed list, for little things here and there. Please email Jennifer Golison, PTA President, at jen@golison.com if you are interested. VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
If you have only an hour, a morning, an afternoon, or have the time to work on a project, your help is needed. Here are some volunteer opportunities:
TCB Days - Work a shift helping out at SMS "Taking Care of Business Days", with student registration related tasks.
Reflections Art Program (September/October) - Help advertise/promote the Art Program, organize and label student artwork to prepare it for judging, help find judges, assist with art viewing event.
Teacher Appreciation - Help the committee plan, prepare, decorate, set up, clean up and/or serve our special back to school breakfast or teacher appreciation week luncheon.
8th Grade Committee - Help the committee plan and prepare for special 8th grade events.
Dances - Help organize and hand out refreshements during the dances.
Teacher of the Year - Read nomination essays submitted by students and help select the 2013 Teacher of the Year.
Fit A Thon - Help to count the donations and prepare the reward packages for students who submit donations. Help assist teachers with set-up/tear-down and be there on the day of to pass out refreshements to the students.
Vintage Bake Sale - Bake or purchase something yummy to be sold at our bake sale, or sign up to help sell the goodies at Open House.
Photographers - We would love to get ahold of pictures from activities throughout the school year, so if you have some please share them with us!
